Sweet Saturday 15: Not His Taste

Welcome to Sweet Saturday lovelies! Again, I want to apologize for not being able to post for SS last Saturday. We had internet connection problems. But thanks to a 10ft. pipe antenna. Our connection is now better than ever.

But were not going to talk about the internet today but still, our topic for this month is about food and your loveys.

Not His Taste.

We’ll take the topic that we’re not able to discuss last week. Let’s talk about a time/s when you cooked food but sadly, your husband didn’t like it. Did this happen to you? What’s his reaction? And what did you do?

I only started cooking when I got married. So our early married days were my practice cooking days. There were lots of time when my cooking wasn’t good. My hubby won’t talk a lot. But would tell me that it should’ve been more salty or the sauce should’ve been thicker. He would just eat some.

I know that hubby doesn’t eat fish. When we’re newly married I had a goal to teach him how to like fish. I love seafoods and I want to share with him the joy.

So I cooked sweet and sour tilapia. And days after, I cooked tilipia in coconut milk. He would just eat some. He said it’s okay but from the look he wants to spit it out. Just kidding! hehe :D I guess he wouldn’t really like fish at all.

Then one day he was able to taste tanigue steak at his mom’s house. It’s his favorite since then. He also like the Sweet and Sour Fish Fillet in Chowking. So when I want to give the family (both my sons eat fish and seafoods) a good supply of iodine, I cook Tanigue Steak or Fish Fillet.

  3. @ Clairity, tanigue has a tender meat when cooked. steak is one of the very good ways how to cook it. esp with toasted garlic on top.
