We celebrated Valentine’s Day in advance last Feb. 11, 2012. We attended the acoustic night that the singles ministry of our church set up for the marrieds ministry. There were food, song numbers by the singles and even the child care was provided; so that those who don’t have anyone to take care of their kids, like us, can enjoy the party.
We came late because of an emergency with one of our kids. Other than we needed to take him to the doctor, he’s okay. But it was hard for me to warm up inspite of the great ambiance with matching candle lights.
Every couple read their love notes to each other. Told you I can’t focus on the event but my hubby was teary-eyed when saying his love notes to me.
Some couples were awarded as the sweetest couple, most romantic couple and such. Their tokens are objects that are always together like spoon and fork, match and matchbox, lock and key, needle and thread. They were asked to profess their sweetness in front of everybody.
I enjoyed sweet dancing with my hubby.
But as I was still warming up, it’s time to go home. Aaaahhh…..
Had a photo for the last time.
Before I end, I want to apologize for not being able to do Sweet Saturdays for the past weeks. Our lousy internet connection takes away my enthusiasm. As it is, I take full responsibility.
Hope you can still join me. How did you celebrate Heart’s Day? I’m opening this linky until Mar. 8, 2012.
