BC Bloggers Meme: A Day In My Not So Boring Life

5:00

The alarm wakes me up but I stay in bed for 15 more minutes. Or I say my prayer of thanks to God for a new day.

5:15

I cook Zach's lunch, pack it as well as his snacks for school. Then I press his uniform (if I still haven't previously), and get him ready for school. I'm glad my hubby helps me in the morning by waking Zach up. That's a task I tell you. Hubby also prepares our breakfast – bread and milk for Zach and Winter, and cereal drinks for us. He gives Zach a bath before he would take a bath. Zach knows how to bathe by himself but he'll surely be late for school if we let him by himself.

6:30

Hubby and Zach are out of the house by this time. Relax relax while tidying up a little.

7:00

Winter and I take our real breakfast of rice with our choice of viand for the day.

7:30

I load the laundry to the washing machine and have my morning devotionals. Other times I do the dishes first before my morning devotionals. And a little clean up.

I take sometime to review Winter about his lessons, watch tv and play with him.

9:00

I start to prepare our lunch. And attend to the clean clothes ready to be hang dried. I love my washing machine, my best friend. :)

10:30

Lunchtime!

Then bath time and prep myself and Winter for school.

12:15

Leave for school.

I'm glad that Winter's school is inside the mall. One of the reasons why I chose this school is because of the free wi-fi. There's lots you can do in two hours. I check my emails and fb, google chat with my hubby or do my blog posts or blog hops.

BTW, I'm an Avon Lady since last month. Once a week, I use this time to go to Avon to purchase orders for my customers.

If not, I chat with my co-moms while waiting for our kids.

2:30

After school, Winter usually plays with his classmates in the playground. Then we travel back home which is only about 10 mins. Or less. We eat our snack and take a nap.

Sometimes, if I have unfinished business aka chores from the morning, I continue it until Zach arrives home.

4:00

It's my time to huddle with Zach. I give him snacks and talk to him about school. We do his assignment and study his lessons.

5:00

I start to prepare dinner and do some clean up so hubby can go home to a sweet refuge. I urge my kids to put back their toys and things back in place.

6:30

Dinnertime

Daddy is making giraffe out of corrugated paper for Zach

7:30

Make sure the kids have finished dinner, brush their teeth and huddle with their daddy.

8:00

Bedtime for the two boys.

When the kids are asleep it's my time alone with hubby. But if it was a long day, I retire with my kids early even though how hard I fight off sleep. If I'm lucky I could still have strength to watch tv or movie together with hubby.

Sometimes, I do my task or do some blogging if I still have some energy left.

10:00

So sleepy already at this time.

If you noticed I don't have a designated time to go online. I'm a multi-tasking mom. I side sweep to my iPad while having breakfast, doing the laundry or while tenderizing the meat. Hehe!

So tell me, is your day anything like mine?

  1. I pictured myself before doing similar to what you are doing now but i was led to a different direction. I am a working mom so most of my weekday waking time is spent in the office. House chores and even cooking are left to my nanny. But come weekends, I make sure my time is devoted on filling up the fridge for the coming week, cleaning the house the way I want it, and cooking my hubby’s faves. :)

  2. (robot-voice) I am now being convinced to buy an automatic washing machine…:) Doesn’t it consume too much electricity? I’ve been told it does. But if it saves on time and ARMS-energy, then I think it’d be worth it…Visiting from the meme :)

    • Hahahaha! :D its hard to be a human washing machine, I know. I can do other things like play with my kids or help in their assignments or bloghop while the clothes are being washed. Doing the laundry is very tiresome esp. That I have a heart disease so someone or something should do it for me. Here’s the math:

      Electricity + water + detergent soap < helper’s monthly salary + electricity + water + soap + toothpaste + FOOD + etc etc.

I think having an automatic washer is worth it :) thanks for the visit!

  3. we will be moving out soon to our new place, I think washing machine will make it to the top of the priority things to buy. I’d rather spend my free time with hubby and Sophie…. Thanks for sharing super mom :)

  4. Ang sarap naman, sa mall ang school.
You’re so wais, Jona ha. When Z was going to school sa subdivision lang and ang boring maghintay sa kanya sa labas ng school.
Before we didn’t have automatic washing machine, my mom suggested I buy one. I told her there’s no need coz my washing machine is better, it makes sampay on its own. Si Sander kasi naglalaba dati. haha!

    • What happens is they ticklefight but of course the daddy always wins. And then the smallest boy who can’t get back at daddy has no one to target but me. He’ll jump on me, press his head on my face, press his body against mine etc etc. So sometimes i end up bruised the next day. That’s how he makes lambing, tsk tsk.
      Thanks for the comment!

  5. Moms are really superhumans. I still can’t believe how Moms to their routines everyday… the fact that they still have time for themselves. I like it when you wake up and pray. Good to know that your husband helps you. Cheers!

  6. The automatic washing machine is by far my most fave appliance at home! Hahaha! We can do other stuff while doing the laundry! :D I, also, am a multitasker. I can’t settle doing just one thing. LoL

  7. Love your mommy-multi-tasking lifestyle!:) It’s great that you mentioned you’ve got time for your devotionals. I say, it’s the most important part of my morning routine.

    • I’m not regular in this but it’s my goal though :) morning Devon’s help me get equipped for the battle ahead. Thanks for the comment.

  8. Super mom wake up too early talaga, not surprised on how early you rest at night gaining more energy for another busy day. May God blessed you more energy for your family! Happy Blogging :)

    • I’m naturally an early riser but when you do it everyday, it’s tiring. Those figures of time are the ideal and yet I can’t follow everyday. I’m not a robot btw haha! Thanks for praying for more energy :)

    • Actually I still need to master multi tasking. I will know when I’ve mastered it when my son doesnt complain anymore of overcooked chicken nuggets ehe :) thanks for the visit!

    • That’s the problem! I have the same problem before. But I learned to speak out, nicely, to my hubby when I need help in taking acre of the kids. Things improved well and it bonded us more as a family. I ditched hiring a helper for more than 2 yrs now :D thanks for the visit!
