Zac Efron In Jessica Reports

Last night I blogged about Zac Efron In Rachael Show. Which I understand is maybe a delayed telecast since they're still talking about his previous movie, “The Lucky One.”

And now, Zac Efron is in the Philippines! How does lucky people like Jessica Soho get to interview him?

Zac is here for Penshoppe Fan Conference 2012 which just happened earlier tonight, Sept. 26, 2012. He's the newest endorser of Penshoppe clothing. Hooray for Penshoppe!

Zac Efron In Mayon Volcano

He's already explored some of the country in the first few days of stay. He chose to visit Mayon Vocano where he rode the ATV following the lava trail.

So adventurous and hot!

Clint Eastwood’s Daughter Detroys $100K Hermes Birkin Bag

Chainsaw Birkin
Burn Birkin

Photos: Tyler Shields

Francesca Eastwood with boyfriend photographer Tyler Shields bit, chainsawed and burned a $100K Hermes Birkin bag for the sake of art.

Caption says, “Destruction is a beautiful version of freedom. Would you want this bag? Are you sad to see me destroy it?”

Criticisms are firing Eastwood and Tyler for making such actions.

At first thought, they could just have sold the bag and donated the money to charity. It wouldn’t solve the present poverty, but it could’ve helped uplift the spirits of a lot of needy people.

On the other hand, why is it $100K in the first place? If you’ll sum up the make, the materials, labor and all, would it really cost $100K? Name and hype maybe.

Maybe these two wanted to show people that against the chainsaw and gasoline, this is just a bag that’s easily destroyed in minutes just like any other bag that could carry your keys, phone and makeups. So, if you have the money to buy it, think twice or many times.

I understand their point but still if you can own this bag, however which way you can, you’re a model or its a gift, I wouldn’t say go burn it to express what you want to say. And if you don’t want to use it, I’ll say give it to me. I’ll sell it and do so much about the money.

But that’s them. We have no control of their brains.

What can you say about this?

Girls Talk | My Style Icon

If last week, we talked about our old fashioned style, this week it’s about our style icons.

My style icon is Katie Holmes. I like her ever since Dawson’s Creek where she’s a tomboy.

She could be glamorous and versatile when in a red carpet night. But still simple, elegant, but in the norm fashion. What I mean is that her sense of fashion is achievable for ordinary people like me, provided I have the ability to acquire even of similar style of clothes. Or there would be sponsors to provide my hunger for fashion. heeh :D

I like when she’s in her casual going out to play rehearsals style. I meant to imitate her style. But I think I better pose as her chambermaid.

The closest I could get to copying her style so far is her hair. I think we have the same hair type…naahhhkkks! But really, yah! Fine and a little wavy. Last year, I went to the salon carrying my lappie and showed the hairdresser a photo of her pixie mop hair cut in 2008. To which she received a lot of not so good remarks as to the boyish look. But with her sweet smile and good sense of fashion, her style even made it to the 2008 and 2009 Hair Trends of the Year.

Sorry I have to link to the sites instead of copy the photos. Just being careful about copyright thingies.

Girls Talk | Old School

Haven’t been able to join Girls Talk for a while. But the topic looks fun so I jumped in.
First time I saw this photo in Facebook, I said “Yuck!” LOL

This was our photo together with my classmates in Grade 6, year 1990. We had a retreat in Makiling, Laguna.
I don’t understand now how this could be the “in” that time for the ones who aren’t the girly type. But I remember I feel cool having this fashion. I’m the one sitting in the middle with the plain black loose shirt, puruntong shorts and high socks. At least I’m wearing Tretorn sneakers, hehehe :D
